Desu Diary – Two week break
These upcoming two weeks, I’ll be in Europe with my parents touring around Spain. Sadly, I will not have my laptop with me because I’m not going to risk losing it while traveling so there will definitely no posts coming from the blog starting tomorrow, Friday May 20th, to the first Thursday of June, which is the 2nd. Hopefully, I’ll be able to make a new post right when I come back, but if not, expect the next post to be about Animenext 2011. That is all I need to say, so with that, I will leave you guys with the small photoshop work that I was doing this past week. Note: They’re supposed to look like card fronts.
Starting it up again~
After having the stomach flu and a cold, then being hit with crazy amounts of homework as well as replies from colleges, I finally have time to post on my blog 2 months later. Anywho, I’m on Spring Break at the moment so I’ll post as much as I can then probably stop posting for another month due to AP testing and High School Graduation. Who knows… Anyway, upcoming posts will be reviews about the Winter 2010 and my thoughts of the line-up of Spring 2010.
A new anime blog
For those who have been common readers/commentators of the Anime Academy wordpress blog, nice to meet you again. For those who haven’t, this new blog will be for anime reviews, random thoughts, or anything anime related that I wish to post about. There will be times when my older brothers will be guests and post something when they have time. However, most of the time, I’ll just be soloing this blog. I’ll try to be an active anime blogger! Well, I’ll see you around the anime blog-o-sphere~

So.. Long time no hear from me. Hey, I’m a growing college boy with a lot of work, class and lab related, on his hands. I had a post in the works to sum up how I thought about the big scary “R” word (recession), but Bernanke dropped the rate three-quarters, so it appears crisis averted for now.
Anyway, to the topic. I think everyone who wanted to has probably seen Clannad 16 by now, and if not, well, then you can stop reading here, but I’m not spoiling much, if at all, so you might be ok.
I liked the basketball part of the episode. Sure it didn’t really provide much in terms of actual story development, but it was fun and a pretty good change of pace to come out of the Kotomi arc. Watching Kyou make it rain 3-pointers and Tomoya manage the game was pretty sweet. And the game winner.. my goodness. The contact, the miracle heave from his back before he hits the ground, the kiss off the backboard, that “shooter’s bounce” off the front of the rim, and the swish as time expired… classic. You can’t find stuff like that in real life.
