Puella Magi Madoka – Tabletop Gaming Part 1
With the start of classes in August, it was also the start of the Credens Justitiam campaign within the tabletop club at my college. As some of you would know, my friend and I have been trying to find a way to add a Madoka Magica feel into already-made rulebook systems, but our first attempt was basically a failure. However, over the summer, my tabletop club president placed it upon himself to make his own Puella Magi Madoka Magica rulebook.

First ever Kaichou wa Maid-sama cosplayer I’ve ever seen and she does the maid uniform. I’m glad I notice details.
As a normal con-goer for my local conventions, Nii-chan and I decided to go (Saturday only, of course) to Animenext 2011 this past weekend. Unlike last year, when we could only go for the Stereopony concert, we were able to sit-in on the typical Karaoke Contest and random game shows, Anime Dating Game and Chain Reaction. However, this year didn’t have the major typical technical difficulties with the panels and the cosplayers were quite decent so I actually have a decent amount to say for the yearly convention post.
Desu Diary – Two week break
These upcoming two weeks, I’ll be in Europe with my parents touring around Spain. Sadly, I will not have my laptop with me because I’m not going to risk losing it while traveling so there will definitely no posts coming from the blog starting tomorrow, Friday May 20th, to the first Thursday of June, which is the 2nd. Hopefully, I’ll be able to make a new post right when I come back, but if not, expect the next post to be about Animenext 2011. That is all I need to say, so with that, I will leave you guys with the small photoshop work that I was doing this past week. Note: They’re supposed to look like card fronts.
Puella Madoka Magi – Incubator Game
With my finals just a day away, I’ve been busy studying instead of catching up with the current Spring Season anime. However, I have been playing as Kyubey occasionally in this Incubator Game.
Review – Puella Madoka Magi
Plot Summary
A kind 14 year old girl named Madoka Kaname and her friend Sayaka Miki encounter a magical creature, Kyubey. Due to this, they are offered an opportunity to gain magical powers and a wish fulfilled if she accepts the responsibility of fighting “witches”, the catalysts of despair. A friend of Kyubey, Mami Tomoe, befriends them and encourages them to make the contract only if they decides to contract with the right wish. However, for an unknown reason, another Magical Girl, named Homura Akemi, is determined to prevent Madoka from making the contract.
Puella Madoka Magi – Ideas for Tabletop gaming?
He’s peering into your soul so you can contract with him in a tabletop game as well!
Normally, on Friday nights, I would be hanging out with my friends in the tabletop club since we have games on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. However, since this weekend is Zenkaikon and majority of the club is a part of the anime club, those who had membership passes ended up going (I am not with them because they have group weekend passes while I will only be going on Saturday). So, with the left over tabletop club members that either aren’t into anime or are too poor to go to a convention, we decided to make and start up a Puella Madoka Magi tabletop game – based on the Dresden Files rulebooks – with some adjustments here and there.
Quick Thoughts – Puella Madoka Magi 10
Moe Homura is Moe~!… Wait what?
Throughout Puella Madoka Magi, there have been twists (whether they’re predictable or not) here and there that has kept viewers, as well as the blog-o-sphere, on the tip of their seats for discussion and analysis. Due to all the blogs currently covering Madoka, I will not explain the episode and/or give my thoughts, then rate it. Instead, I’ll go straight to my thoughts on it.

And with this, Kame-chan will start up Desu Diary once again.
Having gone through more than half-way through my first year of college, I feel like I can finally manage the time to do my weekly blog posts once again and revive this solo blog. Of course, there are no guarantees, but I’ll try my best. Well, I’ll start this off with my thoughts on the anime I picked up on during Winter Season 2011. (Warning: Will contain spoilers)
